Robopaw is built on a simple principle: your family's data belongs to your family. All AI processing happens on the device itself. We do not sell, share, or store personal data on external servers.
1. Who We Are
Robopaw AI Systems ("Robopaw," "we," "our," or "us") is the developer of the Robopaw AI companion robot and its companion mobile application. Our registered address is on file with the relevant state authority. Questions about this policy can be directed to privacy@robopaw.ai.

- Account registration details (name, email address, password)
- Household profile information (number of children, age ranges — used only to personalize responses)
- Payment information (processed by our payment provider; we never store raw card data)
- Support communications and feedback you send us

- Camera and depth-sensor imagery used for SLAM mapping and child detection
- Thermal sensor readings for health and environment monitoring
- Microphone audio used for voice commands and activity recognition
- Floor maps and spatial data generated during operation
2c. Aggregate Diagnostic Data (Opt-In Only)
- Anonymized crash reports and hardware performance metrics
- Feature usage frequency (no personal identifiers attached)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Robopaw hardware and mobile application
- Send safety alerts, session summaries, and account notifications
- Process purchases and provide customer support
- Comply with legal obligations
- Improve AI model accuracy using anonymized, aggregated, opt-in data only
We will never use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose not listed above without your explicit consent.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Robopaw is a child-safety product. We take our obligations under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) extremely seriously.
- All sensor data relating to children is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted to Robopaw servers
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in our account systems
- Parents and guardians have full control over all household data through the Robopaw app
- You may request deletion of all household data at any time through the app's Settings → Privacy → Delete All Data
5. Data Storage and Security
Sensitive sensor data never leaves your home network. Account data that does reach our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). See our Security page for full technical details.
- On-device storage: encrypted with AES-256; accessible only via your authenticated app session
- Cloud account data: stored in SOC 2-compliant infrastructure
- Diagnostic data (opt-in): stripped of all identifiers before transmission
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: payment processors, email delivery, cloud infrastructure — bound by strict data processing agreements
- Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of any person
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger or acquisition, your rights under this policy transfer with you and the incoming entity must honor them
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of diagnostic data collection at any time (Settings → Privacy → Diagnostics)
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

8. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses minimal, functional cookies only — session authentication and preference storage. We do not use advertising trackers, behavioral profiling cookies, or third-party analytics that share data with advertisers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our product evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email and an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use Robopaw after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
